Unilever calls for the crowd

A huge crowd is expected in the first match of Unilever in 2011.

Biggest winner of the Super League, with six titles, Unilever began the season now in full force. With 10 points, the Rio team leads the competition, followed by Vôlei Futuro, with the same score, but at a disadvantage in the second tiebreakers: points average (dividing the number of points scored by suffered). To keep winning in the championship, Unilever hopes to have the mass support of the fans in the first match in Rio de Janeiro.

"The public of Rio is missing us. I have heard it in the streets. We had a break of ten days at the end of the year, which is not common. We did our homework, which was to maintain physical fitness, and returned to the training even more motivated. Now we want to get good results against San Jose and Brusque to really start the year off right, "says the libero Fabi.

While Unilever leads the competition, Pauta / São Jose campaign has been modest. Tenth, the team from Santa Catarina sum four defeats and one win. But for the opposite hitter Regis, caution is needed before the adversary.

Although São José come from less favorable results in the Superleague, caution must be exercised. They managed to get the first victory over Brusque in the last round and will certainly want more. But we're motivated. Certainly, the fans will like the team's performance", says the Unilever player.
