[REVIEW] MSL PLAYOFFS - QF3 Game 02

There will be two Minas Gerais and two São Paulo teams in the semifinals of the Super League Men's Volleyball 10/11. Team of world champions Ricardinho, Lucão, Leandro Vissotto and Mário Junior, the Vôlei Futuro (SP) is the third semifinalist in the Superleague Men's Volleyball 10/11. The team of Araçatuba (SP) has crushed the reigning champions Cimed (SC) by defeating the team from Santa Catarina, this FRIDAY (25.03), by 3 sets to 0 (25/23, 25/17 and 25/21) and close the series of quarter-final with two wins in a match held in the gym Placido Rocha in Araçatuba.

This is the first time in five participations in the Superliga Men that Vôlei Futuro advances to semifinals. Disputing the competition for the sixth season, Cimed was knocked out of the semifinals for the first time. The Santa Catarina team won four titles (05/06, 07/08, 08/09 and 09/10) and one silver medal (06/07).

The crowd of Campinas showed up in force, but SESI-SP did not care about surprises. [REVIEW] MSL PLAYOFFS - QF2 Game 01

After an irregular campaign in the regular season, the Vôlei Futuro (SP) showed that is getting stronger among the candidates for Men Superleague title 10/11. On Tuesday (03/22), the team of Araçatuba (SP) went to Santa Catarina and defeated the Cimed Florianópolis (SC), reigning champions of the competition. In a comeback, the team from Araçatuba beat the home team by 3 sets to 1 (23/25, 25/21, 25/20 and 25/22) in the gymnasium Capoeirão.

With the result, the Vôlei Futuro is one victory away of the semifinals. And the classification could be achieved at home in front of their fans. The second duel will be played next FRIDAY (25.03), in the gym Placido Rocha in Araçatuba. The duel is scheduled for 18h30, with live broadcast by channel Sportv.


In order to continue with chances to reach the sixth consecutive final of Superliga, the Cimed hasn't other alternative but to win . If they win, the team will take the decision to Santa Catarina for the third and decisive game, which, if necessary, will be played in the SUNDAY (27/03), 21h30 at the gym Capoeirão in Florianopolis .

The central Lucão, of Vôlei Futuro, was named man of the match and won the Trophy VivaVôlei. The opositte of the team, Leandro Vissotto was the highest scorer of the clash, with 19 points. On the Cimed side, the opposite Bob, with 14 hits, was the one who scored most.
